The leaves are beginning to fall and the days are starting to become shorter. It's all a sign of the harsh weather we're about to receive.

But there's no need to be glum this autumn as there is still plenty of beauty to behold at this unusual time of year. The summer chicks have now become fully grown adults fending for themselves. Hedgehogs are out often searching for food to bulk themselves up for a long winter's hibernation.
